re-integrating program to a pro-active life in the community. This

By empowering these women to become active, resourceful and viable members of society, they could return to impact their community and live life without having to destroy one's "dignity". After the program, women could either stay (if selected) and become part of the team or at that point, we gave them sewing training and a sewing machine, providing them with employment.
As for the children,
we wanted to break the cycle of illiteracy by sending them to school. We
believed that if you can help transform the mother's lives, the
children's lives will automatically be improved as well.
